Perhaps tense or nervous about circumstances currently in your life? Or maybe you’re struggling with a loss or profound life event.

At Bright Ideas Psychology, we understand and acknowledge the ‘traditional’ labels that many of these symptoms relate to – depression, anxiety, stress, panic, grief, anger to name a few. However, we don’t like labels. We like to approach everybody as a unique individual with a unique set of circumstances in their life right now.

While you may be wrestling with these things, or perhaps it’s a relationship issue, communication problem, sleep problem or phobia, we look beyond the ‘label’ to help you through it.

We offer standard psychological services across a range of issues and use focused psychological strategies, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

When appropriate, we add another layer – namely, Applied Positive Psychology and its focus on the promotion of wellbeing, resilience and preventative mental health strategies.
